Academic Evaluation

We conduct critical analysis of the evaluation scheme, strictly on the lines of C.B.S.E, with particular reference to continuous assessment and problems of paper setting and marking. The teachers manage their classes with authority and confidence, collaboratively with possible technical support.

Assessment of students' work is based upon proficiency in skills, creative aptitude,  relationship with peers, ability to communicate,  transferred proficiency, personality etc.

C.B.S.E plans to introduce the continuous evaluation system up to class X in a phased manner. The school has implemented the grading and C.E.S up to Class III from the academic year 2005-06.

Non-academic Evaluation

All graded subjects like value education, general knowledge, computer science, art & craft, PE, games, music etc., shall be evaluated in marks and grades keeping in mind the relevant value of each subject in the learner’s real life encounters.

  • Assessment shall be based upon the learner’s adaptation to

  • Self-access facilities

  • Learner training/development

  • Identification of their individual problems and problem solving strategies

  • Keeping records

  • Change process in low achievers and proficient students

Children are taught steps to solve their own problems in authentic situations providing them with the knowledge and the tools to manage their behaviour.

  • Explain consequences

  • Consider consequences

We would help the student get his needs met in an appropriate way.
