one library period per week. Students have to
observe the following rules:

Every student should bring
his/her library card while visiting the library.
-
Personal belongings are not to
be brought into the library. If it is
unavoidable, then they must be
kept in special racks provided for this purpose
at the entrance of the library. The librarian
has the right to check the books or any material
taken from the library by any student.
-
The library is to be utilized
for reading and doing reference work. At all
times, perfect discipline and silence should be
maintained inside the library.
-
Students shall handle the books
carefully. Any damage caused to the books
borrowed from the school library shall have to
be made good. In case of loss of borrowed
books, the student will have to replace the lost
books and pay a fine too.
-
If a student loses his/her
library card, it should be brought to the notice
of the librarian immediately.
-
Students are advised to examine
the books borrowed before leaving the
library. They must report to the librarian if
they find the book damaged.
-
Students must take interest,
care and caution while handling reference
books, encyclopedias, dictionaries and other
books.
-
Library books will be issued for
a period of 7 days. A book may be issued for a
further period of 7 days if there is no demand
for it. For such renewal, the book must be
brought and logged in again.
-
The librarian will stop issuing
any book a week before any terminal or annual
examination. All the books borrowed before this
period will have to be returned at least a week
